The most well-known models of Fargo printers are Persona C30e, DTC550 Card Printer/Encoders and DTC400e Card Printer/Encoders. The Fargo printers use Alpha Card photo ID that help to run multifaceted e-card encoding and multi-site ID card.
The Fargo printers are mostly exclusive, being used only by famous organizations and big firms, because they managed to distinguish themselves from other printer manufacturers.

Before the current Fargo Logo there was only one more, but there was no big difference . The only thing different was the color, because the old logo was black, but the elements are the same, just the basic name of the company.
The company was established in 1991, formed as Hughes Identification Devices, a subsidiary of Hughes Aircraft. After that it transitioned every few years till 2006 when it aquired Fargo Electronics.

The design of the Fargo Logo is one very simple: it’s just the name of the company; no image, no representation, just the text. It is usualy accompanied but the small „registered trademark” symbol on the upper right.
Sometimes the name of the company is accompanied by the line „The World’s Most Secure Card Identity System” or „Part of the HID Global” and the HID small logo.
Fargo Logo Font
The Fargo Logo’s font is one very straight forward, simple, but it is not a classic font or a normal font. The letters are rounded and the middle horizontal lines from the A and R are not united with the vertical line, it is interrupted. The font is special and easy to recognize, basicly because of the simplicity of it.
Fargo Logo Color
The color used in the Fargo Logo is somewhere between a royal blue and a steel blue, but it’s a simple color that represents the company. The color blue itself signifies ink and it is easy to link it to the printer industry.
When it is accompanied by the „The World’s Most Secure Card Identity System” or „Part of the HID Global” and the HID small logo, the font used is black and the small HID logo is white on a background the same color as the Fargo Logo writing.
