The lovers and admirers of Heavy Metal music must have known the forerunners of the genre. Where there is a talk about heavy metal, there is a name called Iron Maiden. They not only founded the genre, but also conquered it, being not only the pioneers but also the kings of heavy metal. Its logo truly represents the band as one of the top heavy metal musical group that has earned several national and international awards because of its best metal performances. It would not get exaggerated if it is put this way that the band is its sole promoter and success reason. No media has played a big part in its promotion. Iron Maiden enjoys the success on its own by giving the audience almost 2000 live shows by the year 2009.

Iron Maiden Logo

Iron Maiden has a very idiosyncratic logo. It is a text that captures the name of the band, written in solid bricked font. This shows the authenticity and ground breaking characteristic of the band. The font type does not have rounded edges that mean the logo lacks the smoothness and lightness. The squared edges show that the band stands firmly among the musical industry of the world and is strong in its disposition and style of heavy metal music. Red color has been used to fill the text letters with a black background. The text is bordered in white. The emblem became so popular that the garment manufacturers used it to style their T shirts and caps etc. This practice brought a huge sale to their shirts because of Iron Maiden logo. No doubt, the insignia is very well known around the world, not only among the music lovers but among all kinds of people irrespective of their age. It is well designed and very well thought out. The solid, passionate and strong nature of the crest closely relates to the genre the band plays and is famous for.
